Garrett Jenkins, CFA joined Hayden Harper in 2024 as Partner and Head of Wealth Advisory.  He’s responsible for leading the wealth management practice and providing families with financial guidance and asset management services.

Previously, Garrett spent fourteen years at Brown Brothers Harriman, a multi-family office, where he was a Managing Director and Senior Relationship Manager responsible for advising families and foundations with $1.5 billion in assets under management. There, he took a relationship-based approach to ensure that his clients’ investment, estate and communication plans aligned with their unique goals and objectives. Garrett has expertise in managing financial complexity across different entities, multiple generations and myriad account and investment types. Garrett loves problem-solving, and he is excited about the opportunity to offer holistic financial advice to his clients at Hayden Harper.

Prior to BBH, Garrett worked in Wells Fargo’s investment banking division, where he was part of the Technology, Media and Telecommunications team. He began his financial career at BlackHawk Alpha, an absolute-return focused hedge fund.

Garrett is a graduate of Davidson College, where he received his B.A. in English and a minor in Mathematics. He is a CFA Charterholder.

Garrett lives in Charlotte with his wife, Megan and their two children. They attend Hope Community Church and when they aren’t shuttling the kids to various practices, games and activities, they travel extensively. Garrett is, at best, an average golfer, but enjoys playing. He also enjoys running, spending time outdoors and reading.
