Our friend Bill passed away peacefully August 5, 2022, surrounded by his family after a long and courageous battle with cancer. We had the pleasure of working with Bill for over 17 years and he was such a valued member of our team. His humor, dedication and friendship will be dearly missed. We all feel the impact of his loss and will continue to celebrate Bill’s many accomplishments and fruitful contributions to our Hayden Harper family.

William (Bill) L. Oliver, CFA joined Hayden Harper in 2005. As an Independent Advisor, Bill managed individual client investment portfolios and provided investment advisory services to a number of clients. Early in Bill’s career, he was a Wall Street analyst and registered representative with Nashville, Tennessee-based Equitable Securities Corporation, a New York Stock Exchange member brokerage firm. Bill also served as the Director of Research for Edgar M. Norris & Co., Inc., a NASD broker-dealer, President and Chief Operating Officer of Gulfstream Advisors, Inc., and was a Senior Vice President and registered representative with Scott & Stringfellow, Inc. In addition to Bill’s role at Hayden Harper, he was the Founder and President of Foursquare Appraisal Services, Inc., a business valuation and advisory services firm.

Bill earned his undergraduate degree in Business Administration and Psychology (double major) from Vanderbilt University and his MBA in Finance from Emory University.
